Entrepreneur James Khuri Announces Partnership With Walmart

James Khuri, founder of trading card giant FJ Holdings, is proud to announce his partnership with Walmart. Together, Walmart and FJ Holdings will provide trading card enthusiasts with the latest, hottest Pokemon products on the market.

Starting with Passion

Since he was a kid, James Khuri loved collecting trading cards. Thankfully, his father encouraged him to take his hobby to the next level, developing a business out of his love for collectibles.

Of his transition from hobby to business, Khuri says, “My father noticed my passion and potential and taught me the ropes of business, which helped pave the way for the successful company.”

Khuri put in the time to get the business education necessary to succeed. Upon graduating from high school, he went to the University of Rochester, where he earned his undergraduate degree in chemistry. At the young age of 21, Khuri went on to enroll in the Simon School of Business at the University of Rochester. After earning his MBA, Khuri moved to Los Angeles, where he launched a successful real estate business while still keeping his passion for selling and collecting trading cards alive. Today, the mogul runs both successful real estate and trading card businesses.

Satisfying the Market

In an interview, Khuri stated, “The first thing you have to do is satisfy the needs of all your customers…if you don’t, that’s when you can lose customers, because they want what’s hot. Especially these large retailers like Walmart.”

Khuri understands the importance of working with companies with proven business models to deliver customers what they want, when they want it. Of his partnership with Walmart, Khuri stated, “I have always been a fan of the business model that Walmart follows, their ability to remain low pricing while providing quality products and quality service is admirable.”

Online Shopping: A Key Part of Khuri’s Business Model

Even before the pandemic hit, Khuri understood that modern customers weren’ just looking for great service–they were also looking for convenience. In today’s increasingly digital world, online shopping is key, with more and more customers becoming comfortable with ordering trading cards and other collectibles over the internet.

Of his business model and partnership with Walmart, James Khuri says, “Today’s consumer is not what it was 10 years ago, people are looking for convenience. Many people are now working from home and the option to have almost anything delivered to your front door is becoming extremely efficient for all parties involved.”

FJ Holdings will be working to provide Walmart e-commerce customers with simple, fast access to Pokemon products, allowing his company’s top-notch customer service and product offerings to benefit from the refined infrastructure of Walmart’s online ordering and shipping platforms.
