Go Riteway acquired Indiana-Based Transportation Service Company

The Go Riteway Transportation Group acquired the Indiana-based bus charter company- Cardinal Buses Inc. and is looking forward to expanding the business regionally by planning to retain all employees of Cardinal Bus services. The combination of both of the firms is believed to become one of the largest and most diversified fleets in the Midwest.

According to the chairman of the Go Riteway, Ron Blast, they have been looking to grow the geographic footprint of their motor coach company for years and how important it was for them to find a company that shared same values. He said that they respect the business built by Shoup family and their esteemed employees and are planning to keep the Cardinal name in the markets that is known for safe and reliable passenger transportation.

Headquartered in Oak Creek, Wisconsin, the Go Riteway was founded in 1957 and has around 1,250 passenger transportation vehicles comprising of school buses, motorcoaches, airport shuttles etc. and has more than 1,400 employees in 22 locations whereas, the Cardinal Buses Inc. was established in 1923 and is based in Middlebury, Indiana and has 120 employees and over 55 passenger coaches with local offices in Mishawaka, Holland and Michigan.
