The U.S. department of agriculture mentioned the organic livestock and poultry practices rule surpasses the department’s legal authority. “The organic industry’s prolong growth domestically and as well as all across the world highlights that consumers trust the existing approach that balances consumer prospect and the requirement of organic producers and handlers” quoted by Greg Ibach – USDA Marketing and Regulatory Program Undersecretary.

The rule was issued by former President Barack Obama’s Agrarian Department two days prior he left office in January 2017. The Donald Trump’s administration has repeatedly deferred implementing the rule and had gestured that it might never move forward with this.
